About Us
The Resilience and Relationships (RAR) Lab works collaboratively to design and conduct research on resilience in youths exposed to violence and other types of adversity. We are particularly interested in studying families and schools as contexts for promoting resilience in children and adolescents. We also work with researchers at other universities to investigate the role of bystander intervention in preventing sexual assault on college campuses and on the origins, consequences, and assessment of aggression in close relationships. Our goal is to conduct conceptually-guided, community-engaged research that has important real-world implications.
